Hi, we're Tyrus, and Cathie Jo - two empty nesters who are living the life we dreamed. We have been married over 4 decades, have two grown daughters who are married and each has given us precious grandsons.
We started camping when we were engaged to be married and have never stopped. We started tent camping way back in the day of Coleman's canvas tents that didn't breathe. Over 20 years ago we bought our first very small pop up, then graduated to a big pop up. Next came a first travel trailer, which we lived in for a year, while our house was being repaired after Hurricane Rita.
After that year we sold it and went back to pop-ups, then to what we have today a Rockwood 3 slide travel trailer.
Our travel companion is Selah, our maltese. She goes everywhere with us whether we are walking, driving or bike riding as you can see below.
This will be the home of our discoveries and adventures all depicting our unscripted life. We will share reviews on campgrounds we stay at, how we fill the hours of our day camping, reviews on camping supplies we buy, and some of Ty's beautiful photography.
